Children (7 - 14 years old)

3 Sessions of 2 Weeks

This exciting two-week period camp is tailored for children who have a basic understanding of their instrument and grasp of music fundamentals(minimum of 1 year of experience on any instrument). By the end of every session, students will have tremendously advanced their musical skills, experience and confidence.

Placed in ensembles (levels 1 and 2), children will be engaged in daily group workshops covering rehearsal techniques, performance practice, music theory/solfege, presentations of different music styles and instruments enhancing their overall music experience; they will receive daily group lessons in their instrument, and will work towards a final performance for family and friends held on the last Friday of every two-week session.

Being a member of a music ensemble gives musicians a sense of accomplishment, camaraderie and self esteem. Players learn from each other and are motivated by those who are more advanced.

A minimum of 5 students is required per group of instruments like strings, piano, guitar and voice.
