Kindermusik Village - Ages 0-18 Months

The Kindermusik Village class provides a delightful environment unlike any other. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that include creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, baby’s growth and development are stimulated and all senses engaged.
Kindermusik Village is for lap babies, crawlers, and walkers. It incorporates the most current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement.
Wiggle & Grow - Ages 2-3 Years
Saturday 9:30 -10:15am FULL | 11:30am-12:15am
This music-filled class celebrates the unique joys of your growing child. Each week your child will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with you and her new friends and you’ll love helping her practice a wide variety of abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and active listening. In class, we’ll also share tips and ideas for using music throughout the week. Plus, the fun (and learning!) continue with the Kindermusik@Home digital home materials, including music from class, musical activities, and each month’s story.
Laugh & Learn - Ages 3-4 Years
Tuesday 5:00 - 5:45pm
Each week in class we combine your preschooler’s natural love of music, storytelling, and imaginative play with age-appropriate activities that introduce early music concepts and foster independence, social and emotional skills, language growth, and self-control. We also connect you with other parents who share in the wonder of parenting a preschooler. Parents join class for the final activities. The Kindermusik@Home digital home materials bring the music, activities, and each month’s story everywhere you go. The repetition enhances the learning—and the fun!

Join the Miami Conservatory of Music for this timeless fairy tale. This musical will charm its way into your heart, and remind you that dreams really can come true. Emphasis is on singing and acting.

Discover the wide world of music with MCM! Students are introduced to the rudiments of music, exploring our most popular instruments. Get up-close and personal with violins, guitars, percussion, piano, singing and more! Music Discovery can be taken many times over because each mini-session is different. This class is open to children 4 - 11 years - ideal for total beginners and children who want to explore other instruments!

Group classes in Keyboard and Recorder designed to inspire a life-long love of music in our youngest students. They will learn the very basics of music notation and rhythm, playing songs together, all to better understand the music language and apply it to the piano or another instrument.

Introductory classes in classical guitar are designed to introduce you to this fabulous and versatile instrument in a group setting. Early beginners will group to learn the basics of the instrument such as its parts, name of strings, proper position. All will learn songs according to their level and will work on melodies as well as basics chords and strumming. Students could repeat this session or might decide to go into private lessons.

From the very beginning, violin students enrolled at the Miami Conservatory of Music should become members of our String Orchestra. Group playing introduces every child into social and musical interaction, healthy competitiveness, better understanding of the musical language and becomes a proved motivation for a better home practice. The Children Strings Orchestra provides students with a safe and well guided atmosphere to make music and have dun while sharing with friends.

Music Theory means knowing the language of music. It is complementary to instrumental lessons. You discover rythm, harmony, melody, structure, form, etc... and this will make you a more complete musician.
